Our Pastoral Team

Pastor Mike Weigand

Pastor Mike Weigand has been serving at Faith Lutheran Church since 2008 when the congregation increased its pastoral staff to three. He served previously at Peace Lutheran Church in Holiday Florida. He and his wife Cindy have 2 children, Lucas and Jenna, who are currently students at Winnebago Lutheran Academy. Pastor Weigand’s areas of emphasis are adult spiritual growth, worship, and outreach. He has a love for teaching and one on one instruction.

Pastor Weigand enjoys a wide variety of activities including wood working, sports, gardening, and playing guitar and banjo. The Weigand family enjoys camping and traveling to national parks. Most of all they enjoy spending time with people.

Pastor David Haugly

Pastor David Haugly has been serving Faith Lutheran Church since 1989 when the congregation increased its pastoral staff from one to two pastors. Partnership in the ministry with the members of Faith and other called workers is a blessing that Pastor Haugly has enjoyed for many years during his ministry. Sharing many of the pastoral duties such as preaching, teaching and counseling with his partners, Pastor Pufahl and Pastor Weigand, Pastor Haugly also serves in the areas of administration, the Board of Elders and the Board of Property Management.

Lovers of the outdoors, Pastor Haugly and his family (wife Sheri and children Michael, Sarah, Daniel, and Rachel) enjoy summertime recreation and every kind of water activity from fishing to water skiing.

Pastor Greg Pufahl

Pastor Greg Pufahl has been serving Faith Lutheran since September 2020. Previously he served two other congregations – one was a small mission church in Savoy, IL called Star of Bethlehem; the other was a church in Milwaukee called Centennial Lutheran. He and his wife, Jenny, have three children – Samuel, Malachi, and Josiah. Pastor Pufahl’s areas of emphasis at Faith are school, youth, teen, and family ministry.

One of Pastor Pufahl’s favorite hobbies is golfing. He and his family enjoy being together, spending time outdoors, movie nights, and trying new places to eat. They look forward to (God willing) spending many years in the Fond du Lac area, getting to know the people of Faith, and perhaps even trying some sturgeon spearing. He and Jenny are hopeful there are many babysitters in the congregation as they enjoy “date nights” from time to time.
